Ben Bocklage was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Chaminade High School, where he was an all-star athlete in American football and soccer.  Below are some of Ben’s accomplishments during this time.

  • 1991-94:  46G and 20A
  • 1991:  Lead team as a freshmen with 15G
  • 1992:  All-Metro Honorable Mention
  • 1993-94:  Team Captain
  • 1993-94:  1st Team All Conference, All Metro, All State and All Midwest
  • 1994:  Parade Magazine #7 HS Playing in US
  • 1993:  US U-17 National Team
  • 1995:  US U-19 National Champion (Scott Gallagher

After graduating from Chaminade in 1995, Ben elected to play soccer at Notre Dame on an athletic scholarship.  During his time at Notre Dame, Ben was a four year starter.  He scored 9 goals his freshman year, which lead the team, and 5 were game-winning.

With the St. Louis Steamers SC, Ben Bocklage is the head coach and trainer of the 2006 boys blue, 2007 boys blue and 2007 boys white teams.
